
Morocco: Using AI or social media for an election poll will land you in prison
The Moroccan government is preparing to toughen its legislation regarding opinion polls during election periods . A bill, presented by the Minister of the Interior, aims to specifically criminalize the use of new technological tools to conduct or publish such surveys, in order to combat their "inappropriate use" aimed at "influencing the normal course of the electoral process".
