The renowned hotel group Waldorf Astoria opens its doors inside the Mohammed VI Tower, between Rabat and Salé. This luxurious establishment offers breathtaking views from the country’s highest peak.

The establishment is located in an iconic 55-story building, already featured on the 200 dirham banknote. This skyscraper, the third tallest in Africa, stands on the banks of the Bouregreg River, near the Grand Theatre designed by Zaha Hadid and several sites listed by Unesco.

According to Euronews, this opening is part of the national ambition to reach 20 million tourists by 2030. Hilton’s president for the Middle East and Africa, Guy Hutchinson, believes that this arrival sets "a new standard for refined luxury in the capital."

Guests enjoy exclusive comfort with 55 rooms and suites, all equipped with personal concierge service. The public and private spaces also house one of North Africa’s largest art collections, with over 7,000 works on display. For relaxation, the spa perched on the 31st and 32nd floors overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. This wellness center offers a hammam, an Iyashi detoxification dome, a heated quartz sand table, and an indoor pool with views.

For dining, world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse signs the menu at Aldabaran, offering seasonal products such as roasted lamb saddle or line-caught sea bass. The unmissable Peacock Alley space, decorated with a stunning clock inspired by a planetarium, serves cocktails and teas. The offering will soon be enriched with the opening of The Sapphire Room, a pan-Asian bar, and Après café.
