The Mohammed VI Tower in Rabat: The Waldorf Astoria opens its doors at 6,000 dirhams per night
The Waldorf Astoria is operational, but its first occupants will be carefully selected. The luxury hotel located in the Mohammed VI Tower is preparing to welcome its first guests before the start of the African Cup of Nations on December 21, temporarily privatizing its facilities for the high-ranking officials of the CAF and the distinguished guests of the competition.
This two-stage opening imposes a strict schedule. While the elite of African football will be occupying the premises in the coming days, the general public will have to wait until mid-January 2026 to access this establishment nestled between the 34th and 55th floors, reports Rue20. The entry ticket is already set: rates will start at 6,000 dirhams for a standard room with a view of the Bouregreg.
On the ground, it’s the final sprint. The technical teams are accelerating the pace to deliver the outdoor facilities, particularly the peripheral road located at the back of the tower. The main facade has already received its landscaping finishes with the installation of palm trees and flowers. Behind the scenes, the staff is ready: the teams, massively recruited last September, have completed their training provided by the experts of the Hilton group to manage the 55 rooms and the four restaurants of this new summit of the Rbati hotel industry.
