About 4,000 travelers and 922 vehicles boarded the first boats authorized to transport passengers with vehicles from the ports of Algeciras and Tarifa to Tanger Med on Monday.
For this first day of passenger traffic with vehicles to Tanger Med, the port of Algeciras made ten rotations compared to six for the port of Tarifa. These first ferries mainly transported passenger cars, vans and motorhomes, according to Europa Sur.
