Teen Arrested in Tarifa: Violent Assault on Family Shocks Port City

The local police in Tarifa arrested a minor who was traveling to Morocco with his family from the Netherlands, after he physically assaulted his mother and sister in the middle of the street.
The incident occurred on Thursday in an area near the port of the city. Alerted by passersby, the police quickly arrived at the scene, finding the minor assaulting his mother and sister. The officers arrested the aggressor, who was made available to the competent prosecutor’s office, reports Diario Area.
The two victims were taken care of and received appropriate care. They are safe and sound, according to municipal sources. The Tarifa town hall and the local police took the opportunity to remind the importance of alerting the emergency services or the security forces in case of violence on public roads.
