Morocco’s Olympic Soccer Coaches Strategize for Paris 2024 Success

Time is running out for Walid Regragui and Tarik Sektioui. The coach of the first team and his colleague from the U23s will have to hold a technical meeting during which they will analyze the results of the March camp and the review of the Olympic team’s friendly matches against Ukraine and Wales. The presentation by the coach of the Atlas Lions of the report on the performance of six Olympic elements who recently accompanied him during the friendly matches against Angola (1-0) and Mauritania (0-0), including the latest arrivals, Ilias Akhomach and Eliesse Ben Seghir, will also be on the agenda. Appointed head of the Moroccan Olympic football team in February to replace Issame Charaï, Tarik Sektioui is responsible for overseeing the training of the U23s and leading them towards their goals, and especially to have perfect coordination with Walid Regragui, in order to better prepare the upcoming competitions.
