Morocco Olympic Coach Sektioui Denies Rift with National Team Manager Regragui

Tarik Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan Olympic team, bronze medalist at the Paris Olympic Games, denies rumors of a rift between the Atlas Lions coach, Walid Regragui, and him.
"Regragui and I are working together to achieve the goals of the national teams, and we are always striving to give our best for the interest of Morocco," said Tarik Sektioui during a press conference, thus trying to put an end to rumors of a rift between the coach of the Moroccan national team and the general supervisor of the national teams. According to his explanations, this harmony between the technical staffs of the A and Olympic national teams reflects the commitment to the team spirit and collective work.
On Thursday, the Atlas Lions beat Egypt 6-0 in the third-place match of the Paris Olympic football tournament, thanks in particular to a brace from Soufiane Rahimi, the top scorer of the competition. They finished third in the tournament and won the first Olympic medal in their history. According to Sektioui, Regragui played an important role in the preparation of the Olympic team for the decisive matches, and the historic run of the Atlas Lions at the Paris Olympic Games is the fruit of the fruitful collaboration between the coach of the Atlas Lions and him.
The supreme objective is to raise high the Moroccan flag on the international scene, whether through the A national team or the Olympic team, added the coach of the Moroccan Olympic team.
