Morocco Blocks Olympic Coach Sektioui’s Exit Amid International Interest

While the coach of the Moroccan Olympic team Tarik Sektioui, bronze medalist in the football tournament of the Paris Olympic Games, has received offers from several countries such as Syria, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) opposes his departure.
Morocco still needs Tarik Sektioui’s expertise. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has rejected all the offers received by coach Tarik Sektioui, in order to benefit from his expertise and skills in the service of the national teams. Bronze medalist in the football tournament of the Paris Olympic Games, the Moroccan technician has received numerous offers, including from clubs in the Gulf and the Syrian national team.
Back in Morocco, Tarik Sektioui exchanged with Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the FRMF. The latter entrusted him with a new mission: to coach the national youth team in preparation for the next African Cup of Nations, and to start preparations for the next Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
