Morocco Climbs to 8th in FIFA Futsal World Rankings, Surpassing Italy

From 10th place, the Moroccan Futsal players are now 8th in the world. The men of Hicham Dguig are improving their ranking in the Futsal world ranking published on Sunday, September 4.
The Moroccan futsal team is heading to the Thailand international friendly tournament, invigorated by this good news about their new performance in the Futsal world ranking, recognized and adopted by FIFA. Completing the Top 10 a few months ago, the Atlas Lions are now in 8th place, with 1441 points. With this score, they surpass Italy and are just behind Kazakhstan.
The international tournament in Thailand will take place at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, from September 11 to 16. Morocco finds itself in group A alongside Thailand and Mozambique. Group B is made up of Iran, Vietnam and Finland. This tournament is meant to prepare the Atlas Lions who are participating in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Mozambique.
