Morocco Tops African Futsal Rankings, Climbs to 23rd Globally in FIFA World Ranking

The Moroccan futsal team has risen to first place in Africa and 23rd place worldwide. This is revealed by the November "Futsal World Ranking" recognized by FIFA.
The Moroccan national team owes this position to its victory in the last futsal African Cup of Nations held from January 28 to February 7 in Laâyoune. It had defeated the Egyptian team 5-0. The men of Hicham Dguig in the global ranking are in 23rd place with 1,267 points, according to the website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
