Morocco Climbs in Global Futsal Rankings After Intercontinental Cup Victory
The Moroccan Futsal team maintains its place in the "Futsal World Ranking", updated and published on Sunday, September 18. It is still in the Top 10 thanks to its recent performances at the international tournament in Thailand.
Morocco won the 2022 Intercontinental Championship last Friday, defeating Iran (4-3). A victory that allows the Atlas Lions of futsal to earn more points at the global level, going from 1457 to 1492. They thus maintain their eighth place in the top 10 of the "Futsal World Ranking".
With the trophy won on Friday, September 16, in Bangkok, Thailand, during the Intercontinental Cup final, Morocco remains one of the best nations in Futsal at the African, Arab, and international levels.
