8.2 million dirhams for new vehicles tasked with monitoring Moroccan airport runways

Tender No. 161/26/AOO/ONDA concerns the “supply of vehicles equipped to monitor movement areas.” The notice was published on September 16 on the Moroccan public procurement portal.

The National Airports Office estimates the contract at 8.208 million dirhams, including tax. A provisional guarantee of 120,000 dirhams is required. Interested companies must submit their bids electronically before October 8, 2026, at 10 a.m.

The place of execution specified in the notice is Benslimane. The bids will be opened at the headquarters of ONDA’s procurement and logistics department, near Casablanca-Mohammed V airport.

In airport terminology, the movement area includes the runways used for takeoffs and landings, the taxiways used by aircraft on the ground, and the aprons where parking operations are carried out, among others.

The vehicles concerned are therefore intended to operate directly airside, in areas subject to strict traffic and safety rules. However, the public notice specifies neither their number nor the exact list of equipment to be installed on board.

This acquisition accompanies the extensive program for the transformation of Moroccan airports. The expected increase in traffic and the expansion of several platforms also require reinforcing the resources used daily to monitor infrastructure and ensure the safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
