A slight earthquake of a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale occurred on Thursday, January 17 in the Driouch region, in northern Morocco.
According to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING), the epicenter of this tremor was located in the commune of Tazaghine at 11:56:12 (GMT+1).
The felt shock, at a depth of 14 km, was recorded at a latitude of 35.202°N and a longitude of 3.481°W, the same source indicates.
The last seismic shock experienced by the city dates back to late December.
