The AIDS screening campaign launched in Moroccan prisons ends on December 25. According to the General Delegation for Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR), 20,000 inmates will benefit from it.
This screening campaign was launched as part of World AIDS Day celebrated every December 1st. The DGAPR, in a press release explaining the rationale for this action, indicated that syphilis screening is also underway for the benefit of 2,000 prisoners.

Fez Joins Global Network of Cities Fighting AIDS Epidemic

Morocco Introduces HIV Self-Test Kits in Pharmacies for 195 Dirhams

HIV Rates in Morocco: Young Adults and At-Risk Groups Most Affected, Study Finds

Morocco to Launch Pilot Study for Rapid HIV Self-Testing Kits
