Veteran Moroccan TV Anchor Driss Ouahab Dies from COVID-19 Complications

The Moroccan media world has lost one of the great figures of audiovisual journalism. Driss Ouahab, presenter of the news on 2M, died on Thursday morning from complications of Covid-19.
The journalist from the Ain Sebaa channel has left his mark on the Moroccan audiovisual universe. A great generation of Moroccans will remember his charisma and his eternal smile.
Driss Ouahab was also known to the sports public, as he was part of the sports editorial team of the second channel alongside, in particular, Amine Birouk.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic last March, Morocco has recorded more than 200,000 cases and 3,500 deaths.
