COVID-19 Outbreak Disrupts Medi1 TV Operations, Forces Program Changes

Cancellation of shootings, recorded shows without an audience. Faced with the pandemic that has hit its technical and production teams, the television channel Medi1 TV is mobilizing to provide quick answers.
The media world is not spared by Covid-19. This is evidenced by the status quo in which Medi1 TV is maintained. Pending the analysis of other staff members, the site Al Oumk reported that no less than 12 cases of coronavirus contamination have been recorded among the technical and production teams of the Tangier-based channel.
Faced with this challenge, the management of the Mediterranean channel is considering temporarily interrupting the broadcast of some of its programs, at least until the return of its staff, the same source points out.
It should be recalled that in October, Moroccan audiovisual journalism lost a great figure. The presenter of the 2M news, Driss Ouahab, died from a coronavirus infection.
