Medi1TV News Channel Hit by Third Covid-19 Outbreak, 16 Staff Infected

While the epidemiological situation is showing clear improvement, the Medi1TV channel is being shaken by a new wave of Covid-19 infections. This is the 3rd event of its kind to occur among the channel’s employees.

The toll of this new wave of infections is heavy: 13 journalists, two technicians and a news presenter, reports Alyaoum24. As for the presenter in question, he "began to feel the symptoms while presenting the news. He had to leave to confirm his infection. His case is critical".

Last December, the staff of this news channel had been forced to rest after the discovery of nearly a dozen infections in their ranks.
