Tangier Expands Urban Parking with 5 New Lots to Ease Traffic Congestion

The city of Tangier now has 5 parking lots to help decongest traffic on its roads.
With a capacity of 746 spaces, these infrastructures support the urban upgrading of the city, which is part of the Tanger Métropole program and the rehabilitation and enhancement program of the Tangier medina.
The construction work on these parking lots is not yet fully completed. Thus, the Bab Marsa (246 spaces), Kasbah-haut (19 spaces) and Kasbah-bas (39 spaces) parking lots are already operational, while those of Souk Sidi Bouabid (207 spaces) and the Rentestica parking lot (235 spaces) are in the process of being completed.
It should be noted that these parking lots will be managed by the municipality of Tangier, which will put them under delegated management, as is the case for the parking service in the city.
