Agadir Mayor Announces Free Parking Citywide Starting New Year’s Eve

At the end of this year, Aziz Akhannouch, president of the municipal council of the city of Agadir, has made a decision that should please his constituents.
Good news for the Gadiris. Mayor Aziz Akhannouch has decreed the free use of all parking lots under the city council’s jurisdiction from December 31, 2021, until further notice. This decision comes following the expiration of the parking lot operation contract in the city of Agadir, concluded so far with the last company to win the council’s call for tenders, specifies a press release from the council.
"The municipal council will adopt in this sense, a new parking lot management model in order to increase the quality of services provided to citizens and ensure better efficiency in the management of these facilities," the same source said, adding that the new agreement protocol for parking lot management contracts will have to be based on a quota system in order to allow the largest number of competing companies to benefit from it.
Thanks to this decision, citizens will be able to enjoy the free use of these services until the conclusion of a new operating contract.
