Spanish Man Confesses to Killing Moroccan Wife in Sabadell, Body Found in Apartment

A 62-year-old Spanish national presented himself on Wednesday at the Sabadell police station to confess to the murder of his 38-year-old Moroccan wife, Amal.
The accused would have stabbed the victim and hidden her body for two days in a room of the apartment where they lived. Regional police officers went to the address he indicated, at number 83 Rambla, accompanied by a coroner who confirmed the woman’s death, whose body bore signs of violence, reports Faro de Vigo.

The detainee would have refused to follow the police to the apartment to recover the victim’s body. It was therefore his lawyer who accompanied him to the police station to confess his crime, who attended the search, which led to the discovery of the Moroccan woman’s body. Earlier in the day on Wednesday, the firefighters, alerted by a cousin of the victim who had not been able to reach her for two days, had nevertheless gone to the apartment and even accessed it using a ladder. But they had not found a body.
