Shocking Video: Migrants Found Hidden in Car Engine at Spanish Border

The video, filmed and broadcast by the Guardia Civil, shows the harsh reality of human trafficking. Two 19-year-old Guineans were found hidden near the engine of a vehicle, inside the seats.
The video causes emotion and outrage in public opinion. The discovery was made a few days ago in the Spanish enclave of Melilla. The two young Guineans, a man and a woman, thought they would reach Europe by being smuggled aboard a vehicle in inhumane conditions.
It was while inspecting the vehicle that the customs officers noticed that the driver and her passenger were very nervous and barely hiding it. This is how the car was stopped for a more thorough search. The two stowaways were found, crammed at the level of the seats. They were completely at the mercy of danger, as they were breathing the smoke emitted by the car.
They were placed in a migrant center. The driver of the car and her passenger, both of Moroccan nationality, were arrested for human trafficking.
