Rym Fikri case: A French national of Moroccan origin implicated

A total of six people, including an expatriate Moroccan, were arrested by the elements of the prefectural judicial police of Casablanca, in connection with the kidnapping and murder of the husband of actress and singer Rym Fikri.
The mysterious disappearance of Rym Fikri’s husband has finally been solved. On February 8, he had been kidnapped near his home in Casablanca by individuals who were aboard an SUV. He was murdered and his body was found in the bed of a river near Rabat.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) reports that the elements of the prefectural judicial police of Casablanca, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), succeeded in arresting six people, including a French national of Moroccan origin. The latter is suspected of being the main accused in this case of kidnapping and torture leading to the death of the singer’s spouse. He is suspected of having tortured the victim in a container installed at his home in Mansouria, near Mohammedia.
After their arrests, the six suspects were imprisoned for the purposes of the investigation. Currently, specialized teams from the scientific and technical police, supported by other investigators and Civil Protection, are combing the crime scenes in search of other evidence. The murder of the singer’s husband would be linked to a settling of scores between the victim and his alleged killer.
