Rym Fikri: arrests in the investigation into the murder of Reda Faras

Two new arrests followed by custody have taken place as part of the investigation into the kidnapping, sequestration and murder of the husband of Moroccan singer Rym Fikri.
The investigation into the kidnapping, sequestration and murder of the husband of Moroccan singer Rym Fikri is progressing. The elements of the judicial police of the regional security zone of Nador, in coordination with the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, arrested two new suspects. An all-terrain vehicle used by the two individuals to go to Nador was seized. After their arrest, the two suspects were placed in custody, at the disposal of the judicial investigation which continues under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
On February 8, Rym Fikri’s husband, Reda Faras, had been kidnapped, near his home in Casablanca, by individuals who were on board an all-terrain vehicle. He will be murdered and his body will be found in the bed of a river near Rabat. Subsequently, the Casablanca police services arrested six individuals, including a French national of Moroccan origin, the main suspect, who is none other than Reda Abakrim.
