Body Part of Moroccan Singer Rym Fikri’s Missing Husband Found in River

After weeks of searching, part of the body of the husband of Moroccan singer Rym Fikri, who disappeared in February, was reportedly found on Monday by divers in the Bouregreg River.
A human skull found at the bottom of the river would be that of Rym Fikri’s husband, a diver told the press, specifying that the search continues to find the other parts of the body.
The news of the kidnapping of the singer Rym Fikri’s husband shook the web in February. On February 8, the Casablanca police services opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, after being alerted to the kidnapping of the singer’s husband in an all-terrain vehicle.
Reda Abakrim, alias "Turbo", a Franco-Moroccan drug trafficker, is considered the main suspect in the case. He was arrested on February 14 by the judicial police services of Casablanca, in collaboration with those of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), as indicated by the Directorate General of National Security in a press release.
The defendant is said to have kidnapped and tortured the victim to death at his home in the Mansouria region, near Mohammedia, before getting rid of his mutilated body in a waterway near Rabat. He is accused of crimes of kidnapping, sequestration, torture and premeditated murder.
