Royal Air Maroc to Operate Special Flights from Morocco to France Amid Travel Restrictions

Following the suspension of all air links for 15 days, the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plans to schedule new special flights between December 11 and 13, 2021, departing from Morocco and destined for France.
Good news for the French and Moroccans residing in France, who remained stranded in Morocco. In a message posted on its Twitter account, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) informs its customers that special flights (subject to special authorization) departing from Morocco and destined for France are scheduled from December 11 to 13, 2021.
On Sunday, the national airline announced the scheduling of special flights departing from Morocco and destined for Belgium and Italy on December 8.
Due to the rapid spread of the new variant of the Covid-19 virus — Omicron (B.1.1.529), particularly in Europe and Africa, and in order to preserve the achievements made by Morocco in the fight against the pandemic and protect the health of citizens, the Moroccan authorities have decided to suspend all direct passenger flights to the Kingdom of Morocco, for a period of 2 weeks, starting from Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:59 pm. In recent days, many countries and airlines have scheduled special flights to repatriate their travelers stranded in the kingdom.
