Royal Air Maroc Schedules Special Repatriation Flights Amid Morocco Travel Ban

Following the Moroccan decision to suspend all air links for 15 days starting Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:59 p.m., the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has scheduled special flights between December 7 and 10, 2021, departing from Morocco and destined for Spain, France and Mauritania.
"We inform our customers that special flights (subject to special authorization) departing from Morocco and destined for Spain, France and Mauritania are scheduled between December 07 and 10, 2021," Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on its Twitter account on Friday, December 3.
On Wednesday, the national airline announced the scheduling of special flights between December 4 and 6, 2021, departing from Morocco and destined for Belgium, Canada, Spain and Italy.
"Due to the rapid spread of the new variant of the Covid-19 virus - Omicron (B.1.1.529), particularly in Europe and Africa, and in order to preserve the achievements made by Morocco in the fight against the pandemic and protect the health of citizens, it has been decided to suspend all direct passenger flights to the Kingdom of Morocco, for a period of 2 weeks, starting from Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.," said a note from the Ministry of Health.
