Morocco will produce the 3rd generation of Sandero cars from the Renault group, exclusively manufactured in Romania.
This decision by the French group to transfer the full production of a model from Mioveni to its Moroccan plants in Tangier and Somaca is a first, reports just-auto.com. These Moroccan plants will also continue to produce other Dacia models and the Logan MCV.
As for the Romanian plant, it will now only produce the Sandero Stepway, more expensive models as well as the Logan, its low-cost vehicle, the best-selling on the Romanian market and the Duster models (70% of sales).
