The hybrid SUV that replaces the Dacia Lodgy minivan will not be produced in Morocco. This is the decision made by the Romanian manufacturer Dacia.
The 7-seater SUV will be produced in the Pitesti plant in Romania from October 2021, reports L’argus. This vehicle could be unveiled in late summer for a late 2021-early 2022 release. A first prototype dressed in a reworked Renault Scénic body spotted in Spain gives an idea of its characteristics.
In 2012, the Lodgy minivan, Dacia’s fourth model, had been produced at the Renault Tanger plant. In 2020, it will be the Sandero produced in the same plant. A low-cost vehicle that has seduced many customers.
