Google AdSense delayed? What Bank Al-Maghrib recommends doing
Faced with the concern of content creators regarding the delay in Google AdSense payments in December, Bank Al-Maghrib has formally denied the rumors of a blockage. The institution assures that banking operations are functioning normally and points to an external origin of the problem.
An authorized source from the Central Bank cited by Achkayen has put an end to the speculation that is inflaming the web: there is no instruction prohibiting or freezing "AdSense" revenues in Morocco. The national banks are not responsible for the current delay, and the beneficiaries’ accounts are not subject to any particular restriction.
For influencers and webmasters who have still not received their funds, the person in charge recommends not giving in to panic, but acting pragmatically. He invites the persons concerned to file a complaint with Bank Al-Maghrib, imperatively accompanied by the SWIFT code of the transaction. This procedure will make it possible to trace the funds and confirm that the blockage is technical or related to the issuer (Google), and not to the Moroccan banking system.
