Dacia Unveils New Moroccan-Made Sandero: Budget-Friendly Car with Upscale Features

Dacia is impressing car enthusiasts with the Sandero produced in Tangier, Morocco. A low-cost vehicle that the brand unveiled on Monday.
According to the brand, this third generation marks a real move upmarket even if the prices will remain unbeatable. The new Sandero offers more modernity, equipment and versatility without denying its fundamentals of simplicity and reliability.
"Despite an unchanged ground clearance, the new Sandero appears lower, more firmly planted on its supports, in particular thanks to wider tracks and flush wheels," the manufacturer said in a press release. Dacia specifies that the Sandero 3 will retain "contained exterior dimensions".
The efficient and inexpensive labor of Dacia’s factories in Romania, Brazil, India, Russia and Morocco is the other strength of the low-cost division of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. "Even if the selling prices of Dacia increase, the new requirements of the public authorities will push up the prices of all cars, the differential will remain," confides to Challenges a supplier.
