Moroccan-Made Dacia Sandero Surges to Second Place in French Car Sales

The Sandero, a hatchback car from the Dacia automotive brand manufactured at the Renault plant in Tanger (Morocco), is experiencing a real breakthrough in France. It occupies a good place in the ranking of the 10 best-selling cars in 2022.
With 88,821 vehicles, the Peugeot 208 tops the top 10 list of best-selling cars (all sales channels combined) in 2022. It is followed by the Sandero (64,308 vehicles sold), a small hatchback car from the Dacia automotive brand manufactured at the Renault plant in Tanger (Morocco).
The Renault Clio (64,033) comes in third place. Then come the Citroën C3 (58,888), the Peugeot 2008 (51,456), the Renault Captur (45,528) and the Peugeot 308 (41,710). Peugeot 3008 (36,282), Renault Mégane (33,999) and Dacia Duster (31,652) complete the podium.
It should be noted that car sales fell by nearly 8% last year.
