Morocco’s World Cup Heroes Return Home After Historic Fourth-Place Finish

After flying the Moroccan flag very high at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Moroccan players are returning on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
The Moroccan delegation will be welcomed at Rabat-Salé airport. A triumphant return for Walid Regragui and his men after achieving feats during this competition that ended on Sunday with Argentina’s victory over France.
The Atlas Lions finished in 4th place, thus becoming the only African country to reach this level of the competition. Before reaching the semi-finals, Morocco defeated great football nations such as Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
