Morocco Surges to 11th in FIFA Rankings After World Cup Semi-Final Run

The Moroccan national team will not ultimately integrate the FIFA ranking’s Top 10. The Atlas Lions will occupy the 11th place for having reached the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
A huge leap made by the national team which, before the World Cup, occupied the 22nd position in the FIFA ranking. The official announcement should be made in the coming days, according to the website Football Ranking, which points out that thanks to their performances in Qatar, the Moroccan players have accumulated more than 108 points.
According to the same site, the lines will also move at the African level, as Senegal will cede its leadership position to Morocco. At the global level, while the Atlas Lions have improved their score, Senegal should find itself in 19th place worldwide, ahead of Tunisia, which is 29th, and Cameroon, now 33rd.
Despite Argentina’s triumph, it is 2nd with 1838, behind Brazil, which remains in the lead with a score of 1840 points.
