Morocco Climbs to 22nd in FIFA World Rankings Ahead of 2022 World Cup

The Moroccan national football team is improving its position in the new FIFA ranking published on Thursday, October 6. Morocco is 22nd with 1563.5 points.
The national team owes this place in the FIFA ranking to its performances during the friendly matches against Chile (2-0) and Paraguay (draw), which served as preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With 1563.5 points, Morocco is ranked behind Serbia (1563.62) and ahead of Peru (1561.01). Brazil remains the master of the ranking with 1841.3 ahead of Belgium with 1816.71.
At the African level, Morocco maintains its 2nd place behind Senegal (18th place in the world) and ahead of Tunisia (30th place in the world).
