Morocco Surges to 11th in FIFA Rankings, Eyes Historic Top 10 Spot After World Cup Success

Ranked 22nd in the FIFA ranking before the start of the World Cup, the Atlas Lions have made considerable progress and could find themselves in the Top 10 before the end of the competition.
Currently ranked 11th, Morocco owes this position to its brilliant qualification for the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. One more place and Morocco will be among the ten best nations in the world.
According to Football ranking, the Moroccan national team finds itself at the top of the ranking in Africa, dethroning Senegal, which is now in 19th place after its elimination in the round of 16.
