Morocco’s Women’s National Soccer Team Holds Steady at 76th in FIFA World Rankings

The women’s football team is stagnating in the latest FIFA ranking, updated this Thursday, October 13. The Moroccan players are ranked 76th in the world.
Ranked 76th in the world and 7th in Africa, Morocco has not improved its position in the updated FIFA ranking. Pedros Reynald’s protégées are behind Nigeria (45th), South Africa (54th), Cameroon (58th), Ghana (59th), Côte d’Ivoire (64th) and even Equatorial Guinea (72nd).
The poor performances of the Moroccan players against Poland (4-0) and Canada (4-0), during the friendly tournament organized in Cadiz, Spain, were not taken into account in this ranking. But if they don’t want to regress in the next ranking, they will have to improve their results in the upcoming competitions.
