Morocco Slips to 13th in FIFA World Rankings After Recent Setbacks

A defeat against South Africa and a draw against Cape Verde. These two matches are the cause of Morocco’s slump in the latest FIFA football ranking.
Specifically, the Atlas Lions have dropped from 11th to 13th place in the ranking released today. Walid Regragui had predicted and assumed it, but for the coach, only the results in the Africa Cup of Nations count.
At the African level, Morocco remains the leader with 1,655.5 points, ahead of Senegal, 18th with 1,612.61 points. Moreover, it continues to dominate the Arab ranking, with Tunisia in pursuit, in 31st place and 1,516.66 points.
At the top of the world ranking, Argentina retains its crown, closely followed by France and Brazil.
