Morocco’s U17 Women’s Team Faces Chile in World Cup Warm-Up Match in India
Another friendly match against Chile. This time it is the national under-17 women’s team that is taking on a South American team as part of the preparations for the U17 World Cup to be held in India.
It was last Thursday that the Moroccan players flew to India to participate in the 7th edition of the Under-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for October 11-30. According to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), the Moroccan representatives made a stopover in Doha to spend the night, and will have to resume their journey this Friday for India. They will arrive in the evening.
Once on site, they will start the rest of their preparations with, as a highlight, a friendly match against Chile, on Wednesday, October 5. Placed in group A, the Moroccan national team starts the competition on October 11 against Brazil at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. On October 14, Morocco faces the host country at the same venue, before taking on the United States on the 17th of the same month at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
