Morocco Faces USA in Crucial U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Three days after their resounding victory over India (3-0), Morocco is playing for their qualification to the quarter-finals of the Under-17 Women’s World Cup. And it will be against the United States on Monday at 3:30 pm at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
For their third and final group match, Morocco cannot afford to make a mistake. The players and coach Anthony Rimasson are under no illusions. They know that continuing the competition still requires enormous efforts. But they believe in it even if the United States are the favorites.
According to the coach of the Moroccan Under-17 national team, if Morocco was able to defeat India on their home turf and in front of their public, they have every chance of repeating the feat against the American team. "We are still in the running. Anything can happen. We can make the United States doubt, even if they are the ogre of the competition."
The Moroccan players have no right to make a mistake and will have to show concentration and performance throughout the 90 minutes of play. A defeat is to be avoided since to qualify for the next round, a victory or at least a draw will be necessary and fingers crossed that Brazil loses to India. Everything is possible and impossible is not Moroccan, especially with the performances recorded this year by women’s football.
