Morocco’s Selim Amallah Faces Belgium in World Cup Clash of Dual Loyalties

For its second outing in Qatar, as part of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, Morocco will face Belgium. An important match for Moroccan international Selim Amallah who plays for Standard de Liège and also holds Belgian nationality.
Selim Amallah had fervently wished to participate with Morocco in the World Cup. His dream has become a reality. Next Sunday, he only wants one thing: to be one of the key players in the victory of the Atlas Lions against the Red Devils. A challenge for the one who decided to defend the colors of Morocco to the detriment of those of Belgium.
In an interview with la Dernière heure, Selim Amallah confided that he hopes that Morocco will succeed in beating Belgium again, as was the case in 2008 in a friendly match at the Roi Baudouin stadium. According to journalist Frédéric Bleus, the Moroccan player is impatient to experience this great moment, especially since the winner of this match has every chance of continuing the adventure of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
