Morocco’s Selim Amallah Eyes World Cup Dream with Atlas Lions

The Moroccan international striker at Standard de Liège, Selim Amallah, wishes to play the World Cup with the Atlas Lions.
"... I lived in Belgium, I owe everything to it but I didn’t want to play for another nation. The World Cup with my country, that’s a dream," said the Atlas Lions striker to the newspaper La Dernière Heure, who describes the national team as "huge" and "made up of beautiful players".
With an impressive record in his club, Selim Amallah has once again chosen Morocco after 2019, the year of his last experience with his national team teammates. Very decisive, the Standard de Liège striker has 14 goals and 4 assists to his credit after 32 games in all competitions.
"It’s a choice of the heart. Since I was little, we get together to watch Morocco’s matches. I spent all my vacations there," confides the striker who says he is aware of the difficulties they could encounter in the country. But he displays his determination.
