Nottingham Forest Targets Morocco’s World Cup Star Selim Amallah Amid Standard Liège Standoff

After his brilliant participation in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Atlas Lion Selim Amallah is in demand and interests several European clubs, including Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest is eager to sign Moroccan international Selim Amallah, who is currently struggling at his club Standard de Liège. He should very likely leave the Belgian club, with whom his contract runs until June 2023 this winter, reports the Flemish newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
Since late September, the 26-year-old player has been in an uncomfortable situation at his club. He has not played any matches and has even been sent back to Standard de Liège’s reserve team due to "non-compliance with certain commitments made in the context of contract negotiations." "We have decided that Selim Amallah will play with the club’s reserve team, like three other players. And we will do nothing to increase their market value," Standard de Liège president Pierre Locht recently announced.
