Morocco Receives New Shipment of Sinopharm Vaccines to Boost National Vaccination Campaign

The national vaccination campaign is regaining momentum this Friday with the delivery of a new batch of the Sinopharm vaccine. For some weeks, the Moroccan authorities have refused any communication on the matter.
According to Alyaoum24, relatively well-informed sources have indicated that a Boeing 787-8, a Dreamliner, flight AT3898, chartered by Royal Air Maroc, left Casablanca airport in the early hours of Thursday, July 1, bound for Beijing, to bring back to Morocco the new batch of the Sinopharm vaccine, in order to boost the vaccination campaign that has been underway for about six months.
This new batch of vaccine that the kingdom will receive is estimated at one million doses. Last Wednesday, Morocco had nearly 10 million people who had received a first dose of the vaccine, and a little less than that figure for those who had received the second.
