Morocco Ranks 3rd in Arab World for Tourist Arrivals in 2022, UNWTO Reports

Morocco ranks 3rd among Arab countries that recorded the largest number of tourist arrivals in 2022, according to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
After two difficult years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Moroccan tourism has resumed its progression, resulting in the return of visitors to the kingdom. According to figures published by the UNWTO, 11 million tourists visited Morocco in 2022. A flow that ranks the country 3rd among the most visited Arab countries last year.
These are the performances achieved during the first three quarters of the year, the office specified, noting that the country’s tourism revenues have followed the same trend, up 6% compared to 2019 to rank in the global top 10.
Note that at the top of this list is Saudi Arabia, with 18 million incoming visitors, while the United Arab Emirates comes in second with nearly 15 million.
