Morocco Ramps Up Tourism Push for UK Market Ahead of London Trade Show

In preparation for the "World Travel Market" trade show to be held from November 7 to 9 in London, Moroccan tourism officials have organized an information meeting with operators. Objective: "to equip participants so that their commercial and prospecting actions on this market are efficient".
Initiated by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT), the "workshop task force british market" meeting saw the participation of all the associative representatives of the sector.
During the proceedings, participants were given strategic information and news about this important market for the Moroccan destination. An analysis of the competition’s activity and the promotional axes to be highlighted were also shared.
This was an opportunity for Adel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT, to recall that "it is important for the Office today that each presence of Morocco at a trade show be scrupulously prepared with all the tourism operators and that we are aligned around the common messages to be delivered to British travel prescribers."
For his part, Hamid Bentahar, president of the CNT, indicated that "the implementation of these task-force meetings before each major trade show is for us a sine qua non condition to allow the members of the CNT to benefit from the ONMT’s studies on new trends as well as on the evolution of the specific expectations of each market".
