Morocco Launches "Light Tour" to Boost Tourism in Major Global Cities

After launching the international campaign "Land of Light" in 19 countries, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has decided to organize a tour called "Light Tour" in Paris, London and New York.
Leading the delegation of tourism professionals who will travel to these cities to sell Moroccan tourism are the Director General of the ONMT, Adel El Fakir, the President of the National Confederation of Tourism, Hamid Bentahar, as well as several presidents of federations and regional tourism councils.
On site, they will have exchange and sharing meetings with travel prescribers, tour operators, airline executives and opinion leaders in each country, the Office said in a statement. "We continue our work of promoting and marketing the Moroccan destination. In the wake of the international campaign, it was important for us to keep the pressure at a maximum on international prescribers and also to fully involve Moroccan professionals in this destination promotion operation which is first and foremost theirs," said the ONMT director.
The "Light Tour" starts on May 17 in Paris, May 18 in London, May 19 in New York. Three marathon days to boost the Moroccan destination after two years of health crisis.
