Morocco Ramps Up Tourism Strategy to Boost International Visitors in Late 2022

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) met on Wednesday in Casablanca with its foreign delegates to take stock of the activities carried out as part of the relaunch of tourism markets and to pool efforts for the second half of 2022.
"Our mobilization is permanent in order to support the recovery and resume all activity in the very short term. We are now more determined than ever to regain our position and even exceed it by doing everything possible to develop all the potential of the domestic market and high value-added international markets," said Adel El Fakir, Director General of the ONMT.
The Office is maintaining the pressure to ensure an effective recovery of market share and has been working for several months to bring the Morocco destination back to the forefront, added the official, specifying that the efforts are beginning to bear fruit. Several steps have been taken in this direction: implementation of a commercial and promotional strategy, negotiations with tour operators and international airlines, digital communication, promotion of the Morocco destination, etc.
The ONMT’s strategy to promote Moroccan tourism nationally and internationally will be strengthened in the coming days in order to position Morocco as one of the preferred destinations for Moroccan and global tourists.
