Morocco Expands Tourism Outreach with New Global Offices

As part of the implementation of its tourism revival policy, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) plans to set up in several countries, in an attempt to take advantage of the current enthusiasm for Morocco.
To start with, only the countries attached to existing delegations are concerned by the opening of ONMT offices. Thus the targeted markets are Portugal, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Canada, Brazil, India, Japan, South Korea, Anglophone Africa and Australia.
In addition to the opening of about ten offices, the ONMT will continue its offensive for the redeployment of its delegates at the level of five strategic markets. These are the United Kingdom, Italy, the Benelux, Poland and China. "This new ONMT network now ensures worldwide coverage of the Morocco brand with the unprecedented opening of offices in markets such as Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, Brazil or even Nigeria," says Adel El Fakir, CEO of the ONMT.
For the official, "this deployment of Moroccan skills in promising markets will allow the ONMT to be closer to travel prescribers in order to convert the enthusiasm for Morocco into tourist flows and to set up new air routes".
