EasyJet to Double Flights to Morocco in Major Tourism Expansion Deal

With a view to expanding its activities in Morocco, the EasyJet Group has signed a partnership agreement with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) in London. This signing is part of the initiatives taken by the office to reach or even exceed the pre-Covid-19 figures.

Holder of EasyJet airlines and the tour operator EasyJet holidays, "EasyJet Group plans a real increase in power of the European giant in Morocco," says the ONMT in a press release. According to Adel El Fakir, CEO of ONMT and one of the signatories, "the agreement covers the period from the summer 2023 season to the winter 2027-2028 season. Over these 10 seasons, the mission of the EasyJet airlines company will be to double its seat offer to Morocco".

"EasyJet has doubled its activity to Morocco as its popularity continues to grow among our customers. We remain committed to our continued cooperation with the Moroccan National Tourist Office and look forward to working together today and in the years to come to promote the Morocco destination and all it has to offer," said Johan Lundgren, CEO of EasyJet, for his part.

A large-scale marketing and communication campaign will be implemented to stimulate the enthusiasm of tourists towards the various Moroccan tourist destinations. The ONMT continues its charm offensive abroad to boost tourist destinations and position Morocco on the list of must-visit countries.
