Morocco Offers 30% Train Fare Discount for Expats During Summer Travel Season

To better accompany the Marhaba 2022 operation, the National Railway Office (ONCF) has taken special measures to welcome Moroccans residing abroad.
Thus, the office has adopted a special and exclusive welcome tariff for Moroccans residing abroad called "Ahlan", which allows them to benefit from a 30% reduction, announced the head of the passenger service at the National Railway Office, Nassira Bachari, specifying that this offer is valid all summer and in all directions and on all trains, including AlBoraq.
In addition, the ONCF has increased the number of trains to and from directions likely to see a significant increase in the number of passengers. Thus, 48 trains have been scheduled daily to connect Tangier to different cities in the center, south and east of the Kingdom, with a program covering most of the day, from five in the morning to eleven at night, she stressed.
To facilitate ticket purchases, the office has strengthened sales channels through the private website, and in partner agencies, which are more than 4,000, spread across the national territory.
